I am a native of Bangkok, Thailand, a current affairs journalist, TV presenter, and currently studying MA Global Media and Communication at the University of Warwick. My aim here is to write about my passions, inspirations and what drives me to succeed as a modern woman.
I was born in the city that never sleeps and the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok. I’ve always had a passion for story writing from a very young age. As I recall, I wrote my first creative writing piece when I was only seven years old.
At the age of 15, I moved to Wellington, NZ to finish college. Moving to Wellington was a life-changing experience as it was eye opening for a Thai teenage girl like myself. I’ve been blessed to meet some very special and kind people who have helped me grow along the way of my life journey. In 2011, my hard work was paid off when I got in to the University of Surrey to study BA Media Studies in the UK. It was at the university where I met my love and friends for life.
In 2014, I began working in the television industry for one of the leading figures in broadcast media in Asia, the Nation Multimedia Group. So far, one of the most valuable things that I’ve learned as a journalist is that my voice engages with the public and therefore I have a responsibility to covey the truth and hopefully one day can make a positive difference in the world.
This is my integrity.
